Mumbai: The Goa beaches, known for receiving tourists from all parts of the globe, have a new attraction in the form of 'Under Water Sea Walk', a water sport adventure being offered by a Mumbai-based water sports company.
H2O Water Sports, a part of Drishtii Adventure Sports Pvt Ltd, has recently started this facility at Baina beach in Goa at a price of Rs 1, 500.
This 20-minute Sea Walk is on the seabed amid the marine life which can be enjoyed and experienced by any person above the age of 12 years, Chief Officer, Drishtii Adventure Sports Pvt Ltd, Arun Patil, said.
The company is also offering other water sports like kayaking, para-sailing, jet skye, sail boat, banana ride, bump ride for prices ranging from Rs 150 to Rs 1,500.
"The Under Water Sea Walk being offered here is a first of its Kind in India, which can be experienced and enjoyed by a common person who doesn't know to swim or who is not trained in doing these kind of water related sport activities," Patil said.
The first phase of the project has a investment of Rs 1 crore and a equal sum of investment is required in the second phase, General Manager P N Pandey said.
