Hotel GreenPark presents The Grand Bengali Food Festival Once Upon a Time, Green Park to welcome the festival of Durga Puja with some authentic Bengali cuisine, starting October 12.
Not just focusing in the food, the experience is set to be improved with the staff dressed in typical Bengali attire while serving the choicest Bengali dishes ranging from Kosha Mangsho, mutton in authentic Bengali style, Murghir Jhol, traditional Bengali chicken curry, Muri Ghanto, a preparation mixed with head portion of hilsa fish, Malai Chingri, traditional prawn in coconut based gravy and Pona Maccher Kalia, rohu fish prepared in Bengali style, besides Pabda Maccher Jhal, a bengali speciality among other delicacies.
For vegetarians, Kumro Potoler Dorma, a curry made from pumpkin and parwal, Shukto, a traditional Bengali dish made out of aubergine and bittergourd, Kachkolar Kofta, dumplings of raw banana in gravy, Gughni, white batana cooked in Bengali style and Luchi, a fried puffed bread made from refined flour will feature on the menu among others.
Priced at `555 exclusive of taxes, the menu will be rotated on a daily basis.
With Bengali aromas and music filling the air, topped with an array of delectable dishes, the festival promises to give a true Bengali treat till October 21.
