Santiago, Chile: Rahil Gangjee was unable to keep up his previous round's momentum and lapsed into a modest round of 72, which saw him slip and finish at tied 23rd in the Chile Classic on the Nationwide Tour.

Gangjee, lying tied 13th following a third round of 65, had three birdies and three bogeys in his final round. He birdied the third, sixth and 18th and dropped shots on the fifth, sixth and 15th on yet another sunny day with medium winds.

"I just could not get going," said Gangjee. "But still it is a decent enough start to the season following rounds of 68 and 65 on the second and third days, besides par rounds on first and last day."

Rookie Paul Haley, starting the last day with a six-stroke lead, shot one-under-par 71 at the Prince of Wales Country Club to finish at 22-under par to win by three and earn his first victory in just his third career start.

Haley missed third fairway in all but one of his 11 holes, but he hung in to win.

Joseph Bramlett matched the course record of 64 to move to 19-under and finish second. Paul Claxton (68) was third.
