The four players - two Aussies, one German and one Canadian - have been temporarily suspended.
Chandigarh: The organising committee of the second Kabaddi World Cup on Sunday temporarily suspended four players who were tested positive for banned drugs by National Anti Doping Agency laboratory.
Disclosing this here on Sunday, Pargat Singh, the Organising Secretary of the tournament, said that out of the 12 samples taken at Faridkot of Pool A teams, four were found positive in A-Test.
He said that out of these four players, two were from Australia while one each from Germany and Canada.
He said that these players have been temporarily suspended and barred from playing future matches. He reiterated the Organising Committee's commitment to ensure dope-free World Cup Kabaddi.
