New Delhi: Ferrari goes into this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix full of confidence.
The Italian constructor has won three out of the four races completed so far this season, but there are clouds on the horizon.
The latest Ferrari Formula One race car has been performing erratically.
At the Melbourne Grand Prix, the season opener, race winner Felipe Massa suffered gearbox problems, while Kimi Raikkonen finished third in the Spanish Grand Prix due to cable problems. The team has now made reliability its top priority.
"Reliability is what is missing in this first part of the season. When we have a problem with our score (points in the championship) it's clearly for a reliability problem. First Felipe (Massa) and then the last GP Kimi (Raikkonen)," Ferrari technical director Mario Almondo said.
"We have not been in the condition to give a proper reliable car to our drivers and this is the only reason why we are not leading both championships and this is our priority in the prosecution of the season," he added.
