Fear kills forest watcher

CHENNAI: A 57-year-old forest watcher died in her quarters located inside the Guindy National Park on Saturday. Police sources claimed that the woman, who suffered from diabetes, died of fear of a suicide that took place in the house before she occupied it.According to the staff members at the park, unmarried N Kala from Ramanathapuram had worked at the park for a year.Police said that the woman was suffering from diabetes and asthma and had not been well. However, some labourers at the park alleged that the woman had lived in fear of a suicide that had taken place in the house allotted to her inside the park premises. A driver’s wife had earlier committed suicide in the house that was later allotted to Kala.
