Eyewitnesses, victims recall the panic as blasts rocked Bangalore.

New Delhi: Eight serial blasts rocked Bangalore's central business district and other crowded areas within 75 minutes on Friday afternoon, killing a woman seated at a deserted bus stop, injuring half a dozen people and leaving the country's IT hub scarred.

CNN-IBN spoke with witnesses and victims shortly after to get a sense of the situation on the ground.

“I went to the tea stall, when I was returning the blast took place at the stall. I fell unconscious,” said one victim. Said another, “I was waiting at the bus stop when I heard a loud noise. At the hospital I was told it was a blast.”

Eyewitnesses also recalled the experience. Said Ravindran, an eyewitness, “The moment the blast happened I asked people to move away. I was bleeding. I even called the cops.”

Ramesh Raghu recalled, “I was passing by the road. We could feel the impact of the blast.”

Another eyewitness Arun Daniel said the explosion sounded more like a cracker.

“At first, it sounded like a cracker explosion. People were running around. Slowly, our friends started calling. Though traffic was not normal immediately and they did not tallow vehicles to pass by, we heard the panic was on the outskirts of Bangalore, no where close to the
