Ex-home guard held for duping job aspirants

HYDERABAD: Task Force sleuths, on Thursday, arrested a former Home Guard for duping managements of engineering colleges and job aspirants by conducting fake job fairs. They held him at his residence in Darulshifa .Bu Ali Asgar alias Sameer alias Sukesh, a resident of Tappa Khana galli, was also involved in issuing fake appointment letters of reputed software companies. Police seized a computer and fake identity cards of  IT companies like Satyam Mahindra, Wipro, Genpact and others. According to K Raghuram Reddy, additional DCP (Task Force), Sameer worked as a Home Guard for eight years. He left the job in 2008. Then he pursued MBA (HR) and later, worked in Dubai for a year and returned home. In May, he collected Rs1.1 lakh from each student of Lord’s Engineering college in Himayatnagar and held a fake campus placement camp.
