Errabellis faux pas stirs partymen

WARANGAL: Telangana TDP Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao’s faux pas that his party chief N Chandrababu Naidu had no clarity on Telangana created ripples among party circles. He, however, immediately retracted the statement denying that he had never made the remarks.Addressing a gathering after taking out a motor cycle rally in support of the Sakala Janula Samme in Devaruppala on Monday, Dayakar Rao said that Chandrababu Naidu had no clear understanding on Telangana issue.Since the party was strong in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, Naidu was unable to take a clear stand on Telangana, he said and went on to add that the Centre also lacks clarity on the issue.When his remarks were flashed on local news channels creating flutter among partymen, Dayakar Rao immediately took back his words saying that he never made those remarks.He further said that he was ready to quit the party for the cause of T provided TRS and Congress leaders also leave their respective parties and fight for Telangana.He demanded that all leaders should unitedly fight for separate state.Finding fault with TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao for camping in Delhi and lobbying for Telangana, Dayakar Rao said such acts would be of no use. He asserted that the Centre would not give Telangana unless there is a Constitutional crisis.Meanwhile both TDP and TRS activists staged protest programmes in Palakurthi.TRS men burnt Naidu in effigy while TDP cadre retaliated by burning Chandrasekhara Rao in effigy.
