Delhi braveheart's parents 'fight on' as convicts plan to move HC
"If they go to higher courts we will too. The battle has just begun," father of the Delhi braveheart said.

New Delhi: After the 4 convicts were given death sentence by a Delhi fast track court in the gangrape and murder case of the 23-year old girl in December 2012, there is some closure for the braveheart's family. They are satisfied with the verdict but say they will continue the fight, till the convicts are hanged.

The braveheart's family feels that justice has been served and they believe that the death sentence will act as a deterrent in the future.

"This will send a good message, others will be good," the braveheart's father said.

But the death sentence is just the first step of a long battle that has just begun. The convicts have a chance to challenge the verdict in the higher courts.

"If they go to higher courts we will too. The battle has just begun," the father said.

The mother of the braveheart who saw her daughter die after battling for weeks said that her daughter's last wish has been fulfilled. "She wanted them to die. She must be in peace today," she said after the court gave its sentencing.

Though the braveheart's family is yet to come to terms with the verdict on the juvenile but this verdict has brought some solace for them.
