Congress MLA starts hunger strike, demands check on movement of overloaded trucks

Congress MLA Girraj Singh Malinga on Thursday sat on a hunger strike demanding action against overloaded vehicles on the Agra-Mumbai Highway passing from the district.

He began the strike outside the collectorate here. Malinga said he wants a check on the movement of overloaded trucks and stern action against them.

The MLA told reporters that he would call off the strike after his demand was met.
