KOCHI: The Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL) has decided to provide companies with the information on their credi..

KOCHI: The Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL) has decided to provide companies with the information on their credit reports, which were only made available to banks till now.
According to a release, the service will enable business of all kinds to review the information that is being used by lenders to evaluate their loan and credit line applications. The service will be offered to companies at `2,500. The Company Credit Information Report (CCIR) is a monthonmonth record of a company's debtrelated exposure and payments.

The CCIR records cash credit, overdraft facilities, loans of all maturities, bank guarantees, letters of credit, packing credit, deferred payment obligations, forward contracts and other debt exposure that a company has incurred.

The availability of the CCIR to business entities would result in improved increase in transparency, increase the chances of their loan approval and provide an opportunity to detect

and correct any discrepancies in it.
