HYDERABAD: The Kiran Kumar Reddy government has invited the Telangana Employees’ JAC leaders for talks with an intention to make a fresh appeal to them to withdraw their ongoing strike launched in support of Sakala Janula Samme of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, which entered the 29th day on Tuesday. The talks will take place in the conference hall of D Block in the state Secretariat at 12 noon on Wednesday.The state government sent an invitation to the Telangana Employees’ JAC leaders on Tuesday evening urging them to attend the talks. However, there is no agenda for the proposed talks.Members of the Group of Ministers (GoMs) on Employees’ Issues C Damodar Raja Narasimha (deputy chief minister), A Ramanarayana Reddy (finance), N Raghuveera Reddy (revenue), D Prasada Rao (roads and buildings), M Mukesh Goud (marketing) and D Nagender (labour) will hold discussions with the striking employees’ union leaders.A 12-member JAC delegation, including K Swami Goud, Srinivas Goud, Vittal, Narender Rao and G Suresh Kumar, will participate in the talks. Singareni, RTC, teachers, excise and other employees’ union leaders will also participate in the talks.Chief secretary Pankaj Dwivedi, principal secretaries and senior officials of finance, law, services and other departments are expected to take part in the talks.
