The Church will continue its movement to aid the migrant labourers in the state, said Varapuzha Archdiocese Vicar General Monseigneur Alex Vadakkumthala.
He was inaugurating the ‘Sangamam’ programme jointly organised by the the Kerala Labour Movement (KLM) and Ernakulam Social Service Society (ESSS) on Sunday.
The programme is a social initiative of the state government.
Kerala Labour Movement Director Fr Jaison Vadassery, Workers India Federation General Secretary Joseph Jude, Fr Mathew Ollatu, Fr Martin Puthushery, Mary Thomas, C Sheeja Paul and Varapuzha Archdiocese KLM Coordinator Sally Babu were also present on the occasion.
