BANGALORE: The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has seized an Innova car and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the car owner for displaying advertisements on the car without obtaining permission from the Regional Transport Authority (RTA).A press release from the BBMP said that the Innova car (Reg number KA04-MC-5400) was caught by Deputy Mayor S Harish. Harish observed that advertisements were displayed on side, rear as well as front side of the car. The press release said that High Court had ordered a ban on such advertisements. One has to take permission from the RTA before displaying such advertisements.
