Budget of 2 new departments okayed

BHUBANESWAR: The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the annual budget of the two newly-created departments, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Employment, Technical Education and Training (ETET).After restructuring the Industries and Labour and Employment departments, the State Government had formed a separate department for MSME to give more thrust on small enterprises having potential to generate maximum employment.The Department of Employment, Technical Education and Training was carved out by amalgamating the technical education wing of the Industries Department and employment wing of the Labour Department.
