THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BSNL Kerala Circle is launching a new customer-friendly plan - ‘3G Diwali Plan’ with maximum benefits to 3G customers. The plan charge is Rs 83 with a free talk time of Rs 24.For the first month, customers will get 100 MB free data download, 200 free SMS and 100 minutes video call free. Customers can activate five friends and family with 20 paise/minute. From the second month onwards, customers would get 100 SMS free for every month. For night calling 11 pm to 6 am, customers can call BSNL network numbers at 20 paise/minute. BSNL Kerala Circle has crossed a milestone by garnering 2 lakh customers from other operators through MNP. The total number of prepaid & postpaid connections in Kerala Circle has reached more than 60 lakh.BSNL is the only operator which is still offering economic tariffs and also offering pay per second plans.‘Maveli’ Plan has become popular and has added around two lakh connections. Encouraged by the success of Maveli Plan, BSNL-Kerala Circle has extended the plan till November 27. It had extended the Mithram Plan by 3 more months, from September 17. The recently-added STVs, viz, STV-3003 and STV-4003, which allows unlimited local/STD calls to BSNL network is preferred by many customers in Kerala for the 3G data customers.As a promotional offer for Diwali, new activations of FRC52 data plan is given 25 percent extra free data usage for all RCVs, for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase of data card. Special discount of 20 pc on sale price of all 3.6 Mbps 3G data cards is introduced as Diwali offer.
