ALUVA: A 12-year-old boy, who was found stranded at Thaikkattukara near here, has been given shelter at Janaseva Sisubhavan under the directive of Child Welfare Committee (CWC). The boy who speaks colloquial Hindi said that his name is Krishna and belongs to Kolkata.His parents Jainayak and Aagani had died few years ago. He was forced to find his food by begging. The boy who used to travel on trains for begging was partially blind.The local people of Companypady in Thaikkattukara, led by Sudheer and Nazir, took the boy to Sisubhavan. The Sisubhavan volunteers produced the boy before the CWC officials who ordered Janaseva officials to give temporary shelter for the boy, including education. Krishna who was impressed by the environment at the Sisubhavan wa nted to join the class and study.He would be given admission at Janaseva English Medium School, Janaseva chairman Jose Maveli said.
