Bosch strike called off

BANGALORE: The ‘Tool Down’ strike by the MICO employee’s association was called off on Thursday after the State Government imposed a prohibitory order.The order was followed by a letter from MEA to Bosch declaring the end of the strike. s to a press release from the company, work will be resumed from October 14, 2011, beginning with the first shift of production on that day. Calling off the sixteen-day strike, after a series of deliberations, was welcomed by the Bosch management, who stood firm by their decision of outsourcing in the overall interest of the organisation and customers.
