Body of Mumbai youth who tried to save drowning girl recovered
The body, recovered near Mahim Creek, was identified to be that of the Mumbai hero who had jumped into the sea in a bid to save the girl from drowning.

Two days after a college girl and a youth went missing after falling into the sea while the former was trying to click a selfie, one of the bodies was recovered on Monday.

The body, recovered near Mahim Creek, was identified to be that of Ramesh Walunje, the Mumbai hero who had jumped into the sea in a bid to save the girl from drowning.

Ramesh was swept away after he jumped into the sea to save Tarranum Ansari who slipped while clicking a selfie with her friends.

Tarranum's body is, however, yet to be found. The incident occurred at Bandra Bandstand where three girls went for picnic on Saturday.

While clicking pictures, Tarranum had slipped and hearing the screams, Ramesh jumped into the sea but the duo got swept away in the high tide.

What's your reaction?
