VIJAYAWADA: The first schedule of the shooting of director Ramgopal Varma's 'Bezwada Rowdeelu' has started in Vijayawada.Though the movie maker did not reveal the schedule for shooting in the city, it has been going on in a building in Gandhinagar and in One Town area for the past two days.The film unit took permission from police for a week for shooting the first schedule. Police security was provided for the shooting of the film which revolves around group rivalry between two powerful groups. It may be recalled that some political leaders had opposed the title of the movie and the controversy had continued for several months.It is learnt that the final schedule of shooting would be carried out in the city from June to August.Meanwhile a local advocate and president of Sarvodaya mandali faxed a letter to chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking cancellation of the shooting claiming that it would spoil the reputation of Vijayawada.
