HYDERABAD: TDP leader N Balakrishna's yet-to-be-released movie 'Adhinayakudu' has landed in a controversy with YSR Congress leaders lodging a complaint with the Election Commission that Balakrishna made some comments against their party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the movie.Speaking to newsmen here on Wednesday, state chief electoral officer Bhanwarlal said that he received a complaint against the film from the YSR Congress leaders.In the complaint, the YSR Congress leaders said that Balakrishna (hero of the movie), who is star campaigner of the TDP, made some comments against their party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the film, the CEO said, adding that he had instructed the officials to find out if there was any violation of poll code in the issue.The YSRC leaders also handed over the video clippings of the film to the CEO."A committee will examine the issue and submit a report soon.The production cost of the film will be considered as the expenditure of the TDP candidates in bypoll fray if any poll code violation is found in the issue," he said, adding that trailers of the film are being used in the TDP campaign.YSRC treasurer PR Kiran Kumar Reddy said they appealed to the Election Commission to stop the release of the movie, which will hit the theatres across the state on June 1.
