HYDERABAD: Demanding Union home minister P Chidambaram’s resignation owning moral responsibility for the Mumbai blasts, Bajrang Dal city unit president Nomula Vinod Kumar on Thursday said that the UPA government had utterly failed in preventing terror attacks in the country.Raising slogans against terrorism and the UPA government, Bajrangdal activists burnt ‘jihad’ in effigy at the Moazamjahi market.Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Kumar said: “It is not the first time that serial bomb blasts took place in Mumbai. Why did the Maharashtra government and the Central government failed to take precautionary measures even after the Intelligence department warned of possible attacks in Mumbai? he asked. Vinod Kumar alleged that as many as 13 terrorist attacks took place in several places in the country since 1993.
