A group of doctors from AIIMS have started a signature campaign protesting the removal of Chief Vigilance Officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi.
New Delhi: In the national capital a group of doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday have started a signature campaign protesting the removal of Chief Vigilance Officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi.
According to the Health Minister, Sanjiv Chaturvedi was removed from his post by the government as he did not fulfill the criteria for his appointment.
Faculty members of AIIMS under the Forum for Rights and Equality and the AIIMS Front for Social Consciousness have defended Chaturvedi and said that the senior bureaucrat's removal was not justified.
