ANANTAPUR: Alleging harassment by additional superintendent of police (admn) LS Chauhan, an Armed Reserve constable committed suicide by throwing himself before a running train at the Ramnagar level crossing here on Tuesday.Though an unsigned suicide note found on Prasad spoke of alleged harassment meted out to him by Chauhan, police officials say the track record of Prasad was not good. The railway police are investigating the matter and are expected to talk to the additional SP in the next couple of days.Prasad had been working with the additional SP for the last several months. He was removed from the duty about 10 days ago and shifted to the headquarters. ''Prasad is known to be a drunkard. The alleged harassment is not being ruled out but the reason appears to be mulitfaceted,'' police said.
