Four youth were killed in two separate incidents in Vellore and Tiruvannamalai since Saturday night. In Sathuvachari police station limits in Vellore, two motorists were knocked off the flyover opposite to Vellore Collectorate by a speeding car around 8.30 am on Sunday killing one on the spot and leaving another person fighting for life at a hospital. The duo fell from a height of 30 feet.
In Tiruvannamalai, Karunakaran (32) of Kezhilnesapakkam, Gnana Prakash (21) of Thirunallur Colony and Manikandan (17) of Mukkal Colony near Dusi were killed when a private bus hit their motorcycle near Mankal Village around 10.15 pm on Saturday. Karunakaran and Gnana Prakash died on the spot while Manikandan died at the Government General Hospital in Chennai early on Sunday.
