BALASORE: The district administration has come to the rescue of Satyananda Behera, who had received bullet injuries in the 26/11 terrorist attack in Mumbai, three years back.Collector Akhila Bihari Ota on Wednesday issued him a stipend card under the social security disability benefits scheme. Now, he is illegible for a monthly stipend.The Collector has assured him a job with a monthly salary of ` 5,000. He will receive the appointment letter on December 9. “I have written to the Railway Ministry to provide Behera the entitlement he was promised while undergoing treatment at a Mumbai hospital,” Ota said.Behera of Chalisimedha village under Soro block was shot at the VT railway station while waiting for a train to return home.
