2 murder accused nabbed

ROURKELA: Three days after the double murder at Railway Colony here, two masterminds behind the brutal crime were arrested by GRP. Efforts are on to nab five more persons, including the contract killers.GRP’s DSP Manoj Mohanty accompanied by IIC Ajay Das said the murder was a fallout of groupism and past enmity. The group led by Bibhisan Sahu alias Bisan (36) and Ratan Panda (42), a railway employee, hired the killers to eliminate rival group leader Sunil Choudhary (26).The IIC said on several occasions, Sunil, an anti-social, led his groups to dominate the group led by Bisan and Panda.  Accordingly, a conspiracy was hatched to eliminate Sunil and his accomplice Jitendra Sahu alias Gore. On Wednesday while Gore managed to escape, Sunil, accompanied by his friend Sanjit Sahu, was shot dead by the hired killers. The IIC said Sanjit was unlucky as the killers eliminated him moments later.Das said efforts are on to nab the rest five accused, including the hired killers, who hail from Jharkhand.
