HYDERABAD: Eight days after the murder of a history sheeter in a gymnasium, police on Tuesday arrested sixpersons, including two advocates, in connection with the case. Police seized five knives, a mobile phone, three bikes and a country-made pistol from them.Kanchanbagh and Santoshnagar police unravelled the mystery behind the murder of Ahmed Ali Khan alias Ilyas Ali Khan, a crockery businessman from Phool Bagh area of Chandrayangutta.Nine other accused are absconding.The arrested are: Mohammed Bin Abdulla alias Chota Mohammed, an advocate from Yakuthpura of Rein Bazaar, Syed Yaseen of Gokul Nagar, Mallepally, Mirza Sajid Baig alias Baig Sab and Mohammed Muslehuddin of Chandra Nagar, Yakuthpura, Rashed Bin Abdullah of Rahmathnagar and Mohammed Saber Ali, an advocate from Hafeeznagar.Police said Chota Mohammed, a history sheeter of Rein Bazaar, was main conspirator in murder case.Chota Mohammed harboured a grudge against Ilyas for testifying against him in a criminal case despite being warned. He decided to eliminate him and, after three unsuccessful attempts, finally unleashed an attack with his associates on March 19 when Ilyas was in the Gods Power Gym at Central Excise colony."The accused stabbed Ilyas with knives and daggers killing him and then made good their escape,' said police.
