Renu Desai is a mother of two, a son and a daughter, and she recently disclosed her intentions to remarry within the next two years. She stated, “I have not spoken anything about that marriage as it is purely my matter. But, I don’t want anyone to misunderstand what happened in my life. So, I want to clear it off. I got engaged in the presence of my family and friends. Aadhya was seven back then. I had to give time to the person I was marrying. After thinking about her and knowing she needed someone to look after her, I called off the marriage.”
Her decision was influenced by her deep respect and belief in the institution of marriage. Her son, Akira, also expressed his support, encouraging her to remarry if it made her happy. However, she plans to wait for two years, allowing her daughter Aadhya to go to college before she considers her happiness.
Previously, reports had circulated that Renu Desai was contemplating remarrying with a businessman from Pune, and they had even become engaged. Images from their engagement went viral on social media. However, her unwavering commitment to her children’s well-being led her to call off the marriage.
In addition to her personal life, Renu Desai shared her views on her acting career, expressing her desire to continue working in films. Her son Akira has taken up a music program, while her daughter Aadya is a high school student in Hyderabad.
