Film producer Mohan Mullapudi has been appointed as a member of the Local Advisory Committee of Sri Venkateswara Temples in Jubilee Hills, Karimnagar, and Himayatnagar for the current tenure of the TTD Board.
Having a background as a producer and distributor of numerous films, Mullapudi, who is also the honourable secretary of the Film Nagar Cultural Center (FNCC), serves on an honorary basis. He will contribute to the overall development of TTD Temples in Jubilee Hills, Karimnagar, and Himayatnagar, as well as the new temple under construction in Karimnagar.
In addition to his recent appointment, reports indicate that a darshan ticket priced at 300 rupees has been introduced for entry to the Venkateswara Temple’s gate on the occasion of Tirupati Vaikuntha Ekadashi. These tickets, available online, generated a significant income of Rs 6.75 crore in just 20 minutes for the devasthanam. The Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations are scheduled to take place from December 23, 2023, to January 1, 2024, with the opening of Vaikuntha Dwaram in Tirupati Venkateswara Swamy Temple.
In September 2017 Sri Mullapudi Mohan was also elected as Vice President of the Film Nagar Cultural Center (FNCC). The election was held recently and he won with a very large majority. After this huge success, Sri Mullapudi Mohan visited Jubilee Hills to convey Dasara’s wishes as part of the celebration. He was also accompanied by MLA Sri Maganti Gopinath and Telangana State Cinematography Minister Sri Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
During the visit, Mullapudi Mohan conveyed his thanks and stated, “I will strive for the welfare and development of the FNCC and try my best to make it No. 1 in Hyderabad. I will make sure that we conduct many more cultural activities.” Meanwhile, the event was also attended by Tummalapalli Prasanna Kumar, Jr NTR’s brother Nandamuri Taraka Rathna, Sama Suresh, Yalamanchili Suresh, and Vallabhaneni Ramprasad.
