Telugu actor Vishwak Sen, popularly known as Mass Ka Das, has made headlines following an injury sustained during the shoot of his upcoming movie, Gangs of Godavari. Reports indicate that the actor was rehearsing for a scene atop a lorry when the incident occurred, leading to his hospitalisation. Known for delivering mass entertaining films, Vishwak Sen’s fans are eagerly awaiting updates on his condition and wishing him a speedy recovery.
During intense rehearsals, he slipped and fell which caused him injuries and needed him to be hospitalised. As per the recent reports, the filmmakers clarified that the incident is not a recent one and the actor has recovered from his injuries. Reportedly, the actor is currently back on the set and busy shooting.
Vishwak Sen was last seen in the movie Das Ka Dhamki. The movie was directed and produced by him. The action-comedy featured him in a dual role, as the hero and the villain. It also starred Nivetha Pethuraj, Rao Ramesh, Tharun Bhascker, Akshara Gowda, Hyper Aadi, Ajay, and Rohini play supporting roles and was received with mixed to positive reviews and turned out to be a commercial success. He also starred in Rakul Preet Singh-fronted movie Boo, a bilingual (Tamil-Telugu) movie that premiered on Jio Cinemas.
Currently, Vishwak Sen’s fans are buzzing with excitement over his upcoming political thriller titled Gangs of Godavari. The movie is about the story of thugs and politics that takes place in Eluru and Godavari coastal regions and is set against the backdrop of the 1980s. The movie has an interesting cast ensemble featuring Vishwak Sen, Neha Shetty and Anjali in important roles. It will also star Bollywood’s famous actress, Nora Fatehi. The movie is helmed by Krishna Chaitanya and the musical department is handled by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie is slated for release on December 29, 2023.
The actor also has two other movies- VS10, tentatively named and the other one is Gaami in the pipeline.
