Measure your dog's neck. Find an old collared shirt with the approximate size of your dog's neck.

Unpick the collar from the shirt at the neckline. If you want, you can cut off the collar. Afterwards, you will have to sew a hem around the cut edge. This is to prevent it from fraying.

To use the collar, simply button it around the dog's neck.

Designing the Collar

Embellish the neck line with trim using fabric glue.
