Open Instagram. The app icon is a camera inside a square that's a gradient from yellow to purple. You can find this app on your home screen, in the app drawer, or by searching. Log in if prompted.
Tap your profile image or the silhouette Android IG Profile. This is in the lower right of your screen. Your profile page will open.
Tap Edit Profile. You'll find this near the top of your profile page, next to your profile image.
Tap your email address. You'll find this listed under the Private Information header. A new screen will load and your keyboard will slide up from the bottom.
Delete your old email address.
Type your new email address.
Tap the blue check mark. You'll see this in the upper right corner of your screen. A window will pop up saying that there is a link you need to follow in the new email account in order to verify your email address change.
Go to your email account. This could be your Gmail or Yahoo account.
Open the email from Instagram.
Tap Confirm Email Address. You'll see this at the bottom of the email. Your Instagram account will open with a confirmation window. You've successfully changed your email address on Instagram!
