Manchester: Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has reportedly insisted that he will only take cash offers for want-away striker Carlos Tevez, despite speculation about possible loan moves and player swap deals.
The Mail on Sunday claims that Mancini has refused a swap deal with Inter for striker Samuel Eto'o despite both clubs being in Ireland for the Dublin Super Cup and having held talks, and is only interested in cash offers.
Tevez has been the subject of intense speculation since handing in a transfer request, and is reportedly desperate to leave Eastlands in any way possible.
However, a source at Manchester City has said: "Our evaluation for Tevez stands; no loan deal, no player swap.
"He is due back in training on August 4."
Tevez was at one stage considering a move back to Corinthians in Brazil to be nearer his family, but after that deal fell through he appears to be focused on a move to another club in Europe that can match his 220,000 pounds-a-week wage demands.
