All or nothing for Liverpool, Real Madrid
No English team has ever beaten Marseille in Marseille.

New Delhi: The pressure just does not ease off Liverpool. Tuesday night is a familiar situation for them: win against Marseille in their Champions League game and qualify for the next round, or face an early exit from Europe.

Liverpool also had a disappointing Premier League encounter against Reading, who beat the Reds 3-1. But manager Rafa Benitez's team has pulled off the most unlikely wins in the worst pressure situations.

"We had three days and some players were tired before we played against Reading. But now we will have four days. I think that is enough time for resting for the players to be fit again," Benitez points out.

Liverpool had lost to Marseille at home in their opening encounter this season, and no English team has ever beaten Marseille in Marseille. But Liverpool are in superb form in the Champions League, and Benitez has a full squad to choose from.

Spanish champions Real Madrid, too, are in a classic all-or-nothing clash as they face Italian club Lazio at the Santiago Bernabeu.

A win or a draw will send Real through to the knockout round, but only a win will be good enough for Lazio.

"Tomorrow is a special day. It doesn't matter how we played before in the first match or how they played, this game is a final," Real's Dutch striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy remarks.

Lazio will need to pull out all their resources and strength because Real have not been beaten at the Bernabeu in the last 24 Champions League matches they have played there.
