AC Milan ready to cash in on Pato
The 22-year-old has allegedly attracted the interest of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Milan: Alexandre Pato could be on his way out of AC Milan in the January transfer window as the Rossoneri are ready to cash in on the Brazil international if they receive an offer in the region of 45 million euros, calciomercato.com reports.

The 22-year-old has allegedly attracted the interest of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, and AC Milan could be tempted to sell in order to generate funds to sign a new midfielder.

Massimiliano Allegri does not consider the former Internacional star to be an indispensable first-team member, and is eager to add another midfielder to his squad to provide cover for the ageing trio of Mark van Bommel, Clarence Seedorf and Massimo Ambrosini.

The sale of Pato would provide Milan with the financial resources necessary to go after Ajax's Christian Eriksen or Sao Paulo's Casemiro.

Pato joined Milan in January 2008 and has since made over 100 Serie A appearances for the San Siro side. His current contract with the Rossoneri expires in June 2014.
