The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has pushed back the release date of the SSC General Duty (GD) Constable Exam 2025 notification due to “administrative reasons”. As per the revised schedule, the notice for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2025, which was earlier slated to be released on August 27, will now be issued on September 5 on the official website ssc.gov.in.
The official notification reads, “According to the tentative calendar of the Examinations for the year 2024-2025, the Notice of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 for inviting Online Applications from aspiring candidates was scheduled to be published on the Commission’s website on August 27, 2024. 2. However, due to administrative reasons, notice of the exam will now be out on September 5, 2024.”
SSC GD Constable Exam 2025: Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the SSC Constable GD Exam 2025, Candidates must have completed at least Class 10 from a recognised board or institution and should have to be between 18 to 23 years of age.
SSC Constable GD Exam 2025: How to Apply
Step 1: Head to the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2025 link.
Step 3: Enter the required details and register yourself.
Step 4: Log in to your account and the application form will appear on your screen.
Step 5: Fill in the application form.
Step 6: Upload the required documents and deposit the fees.
Step 7: Review all the information carefully and click on submit.
Step 8: Download and take a hard copy of the registration form for future reference.
SSC GD Constable Exam 2025: Selection Process:
The SSC GD Constable Exam 2025 is expected to be conducted in the month of January or February in CBT mode. The exam will consist of a total of 80 questions carrying 160 marks. There will be 4 sections i.e. General Knowledge and General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi.
Following the written examination, aspirants have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification and Medical Test. For any other information, applicants are advised to visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission, ssc.gov.in.
