PM Modi Vows Strict Action on NEET Paper Leak, Slams Opposition for Politicising Youth's Future
PM Modi also went on to say that the opposition parties were meddling with the future of the youth of India for political purposes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, promising strong action in the NEET paper leak controversy and emphasising that those responsible would not be spared by the government. He also went on to say that the opposition parties were meddling with the future of the youth of India for political purposes.

Expanding on his point, PM Modi noted that since the President had addressed the issue of the paper leak in her speech, he anticipated that the entire house would transcend political differences to discuss the matter. “Unfortunately, the issue, which is about the future of the country, is being politicised by them. What can be more unfortunate than this?,” PM Modi questioned during his response to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s address in the Upper House.

He assured the youth of the country, saying, “I promise you one thing – this government will not spare those who cheat you, and strict actions are being taken against those found accountable.”

“We have implemented strict laws to address the issue and are strengthening the entire system,” PM Modi added

He reassured students that the government is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere in which they may focus on their academics without being concerned about the conduct of the exams.

The Opposition has consistently pushed for a thorough discussion on the NEET issue within Parliament. This demand has led to frequent disruptions in both houses as the INDIA bloc insisted on addressing the matter urgently. On Monday, the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha appealed to the Speaker to designate a specific day, following the debate on the Motion of Thanks, dedicated solely to deliberating the NEET concern.
