The NITI Aayog, or National Institution for Transforming India, serves as the government’s public policy think tank. It catalyzes economic development and fosters cooperative federalism through the involvement of the state governments of India. It helps with the economic policy-making process.
The NITI Aayog launched an internship program, and undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholars can apply. Applicants can apply till May 10. It is a great opportunity to work with the organization without giving any examination.

It is an unpaid internship. The internship will continue for six weeks to six months. Applicants have to have degrees from recognized universities or institutes in India or abroad. When it comes to undergraduate students, they have to have completed their fourth-semester exams or the second year. The minimum acquired percentage should be 85% in the 12th board exams.
The postgraduate students should have completed their first-year or second-semester exams. They should have at least 70% marks in their undergraduate degree. Similarly, research students should have at least 70% marks in their undergraduate degree.
There are multiple options to select from when it comes to domains. The list of domains consists of agriculture, data management and analysis, economics, education or human resources development, energy sector, foreign trade or commerce, governance, health, nutrition, women and child development, industry, infrastructure connectivity, mass communications, and social media, mining sector, natural resources, environment, and forests, program monitoring and evaluation, project appraisal and management, public financed budget, public-private partnership, rural development and SDGs, science and technology, skill development and employment, social justice and empowerment, sports and youth development, tourism and culture, urbanisation or smart city, water resources, and lifestyle for the environment.
The candidates opting for the internship must have a minimum attendance of 75 per cent to complete the NITI Aayog internship successfully. An experience certificate will be provided after the successful completion of the internship.
