The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a launchpad for candidates aspiring to serve in the Indian Army. It also holds recruitments through its NCC Entry Scheme. Recently, a notification for a post through the 56th NCC Special Entry Scheme Course was released, and interested candidates can apply until March 8. NCC Special Entry Scheme 2024 Recruitment: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official Indian Army website, joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Step 2: Select Officer Entry Application/Login, and then click Registration.
Step 3: After registering, click ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard.
Step 4: Then click on Apply, shown against the Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course.
Step 6: A page of ‘Application Form’ will appear. Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill in details as required under various segments.
Step 7: Once all the information has been filled out, a preview of the application will appear. Check all the details carefully.
Step 8: In the next step, click on the Submit button to complete the Army NCC Special Entry Scheme application process.
NCC Special Entry Scheme 2024 Recruitment: Education Qualification
Aspiring candidates should have a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Apart from that, they should also have an NCC ‘C’ certificate. Another important criterion is that the candidate should be unmarried. There will be some fee relaxation for people belonging to the OBC/SC/ST.
NCC Special Entry Scheme 2024 Recruitment: Age Limit
The minimum age to apply for the post is 19 years, and the maximum age criteria is 25 years. They are considering July 1, 2024, as the base date. The candidate should not have been born between July 2, 1999, and July 1, 2005. The course will also give age-related relaxation to candidates on the basis of reserved categories.
NCC Special Entry Scheme 2024 Recruitment: Selection Process and Salary
Initially, the candidates will be shortlisted first on the basis of their application form and basic criteria. After this, they will be called for an SSB interview at the prescribed address. Once they clear the interview, there will be a medical test for the selected candidates. Candidates who clear all the rounds will be given a salary ranging from Rs 5,600,000 to Rs 1,77,500.
