The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be announcing the seat allotment result for the third round of JoSAA counselling 2024 today, July 4. Once declared, all the candidates who registered for the counselling procedure can download the seal allotment result from the official website at josaa.nic.in. As per the schedule, the results will be out at 5 pm. Candidates who will get the seats can report online, make fee payments and upload the required documents for verification by July 8.
JoSAA Counselling Round 3 seat allotment result: How to check
Step 1: Navigate to the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the round 3 seat allocation result link and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials.
Step 4: The JoSAA round 3 seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and take a printout of the allotment result for future reference.
To further complete the admission process the candidate needs to:

–– Upload all the required documents for verification
–– Pay the fees
The resolution of fee payment issues will be done on July 9. Also, candidates can withdraw their seats or exit from the allocation process between July 5 to July 8 by 5 pm.
The seat will be allotted depending on various factors like the candidate’s choice preferences, rank and the availability of the seats.
The JoSAA administers a common counselling process for students seeking admission to engineering and other courses at 118 institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs and other technical institutes funded entirely or partially by the Central or State Governments (other GFTIs), based on the candidate’s scores in JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
The JoSAA Counselling Round 4 and 5 seat allotment results will be out on July 10 and July 17 respectively.
Also, after the completion of JoSAA counselling, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will administer two rounds of counselling from July 17 to July 24 for the remaining seats in the NIT system (seats of NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and other GFTIs).
