Indian Air Force To Recruit Agniveer Vayu for 2025 Intake, Application Process Begins July 8

The Indian Air Force has released a short notification for the Agniveer Vayu (Intake-02/2025) recruitment. Applications will begin on July 8 and continue until July 28. Interested youth can apply by visiting the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Exam will be conducted on October 18. The new HR methodology under the Agnipath Scheme aimed to offer an opportunity for the nation’s youth to experience military life for four years. The Agniveer Vayu Is is a distinct rank from any other existing ranks in the Indian Air Force.

However, depending on the candidate’s performance and the organization’s requirements, Agniveer Vayu may have the chance to apply for a permanent position as Airmen in the IAF.To become an Agniveer in the Air Force, it is necessary to pass 12th with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects. Those who have a diploma in engineering can also apply. As far as age is concerned, the candidate should be born between July 3 2004 and January 31, 2008. This indicates that the eligible age range is between 17.5 years and 21 years.

The application fee for Agniveer Air Recruitment is Rs 550 (GST charges extra). The application fee has to be paid in online mode. The payment for the examination fee will be done through Debit/credit cards and Internet banking payment gateway. After joining the Air Force as Agniveer Vayu, you will get a salary of Rs 30,000 every month. Out of this, Rs 9000 will be deducted as Corpus Fund, making the in-hand salary in the first year Rs 21,000. The salary will increase by 10 per cent every year.

Candidates will have to go through a written test, a physical test, verification of documents and a medical test. In the physical test, candidates have to run 1.6 km in 7 minutes, while women will get 8 minutes. Male candidates will have to perform 10 pushups and 20 situps in a minute, while female candidates have to do 10 situps in 1 minute, 30 seconds and 15 pushups in 1 minute.
