In Bihar's Lakhisarai, Job Fair To Recruit 550 Vacancies Begins

A recruitment camp has commenced today in all blocks of Lakhisarai, Bihar for 550 matriculation (class 12th) and intermediate (class 12th)-related vacancies. This camp is being held at the Block Skill Development Center. The District Employment office in Lakhisarai has organised this job fair. SIS Security and Intelligence Services India Limited is assisting the district employment office in this fair. In an interview with Local 18 Bihar, Lakhisarai District Planning Officer Jainendra Kumar talked about more details of this recruitment camp. As per the officer, the appointments in this camp will be done in the positions of the security guard (250), security supervisor (100), security officer (100) and SWAN (Stranded Workers Action Network) squad.

The recruitment camp will also be held on June 12 and 13 (Barahiya Block) and on June 14th and 15th at Block Skill Development Center, Pipariya. On June 18th and 19th, the candidates can take part in this camp at the Block Skill Development Center at Halsi. On June 21 and 22, the participants can register themselves at the Block Skill Development Center Chanan. On June 24th and 25th, the job fair will be held at Block Office Ramgarh Chowk and on June 26th and 27th at Block Skill Development Center Suryagarha. After participating in these job fairs, the selected candidates will be sent for training at Chakai block, Jamui district, Bihar.

The Lakhisarai District Planning Officer talked about the requirements one should have while applying for the position of security jawan. According to him, the aspirants should have cleared the matriculation and be aged between 19 to 40 years. Jainendra said that the height of candidates interested in the position of jawan should be 167.5 cm. According to him, the aspirants who have qualified for the intermediate exam and are aged between 19 to 40 years can be deemed eligible for supervisor post. He added that the candidate’s height should be 170 cm.

A similar one-day job camp was organised for the candidates who have completed their matriculation and intermediate-level education at Gaya, Bihar. The Model Career Center (MCC) organised this along with the Regional Planning Office of Gaya on February 28, 2024.
