BSF Recruitment 2024:Registration Begins for 1526 Posts; Salary Upto Rs 92,300

The Border Security Force (BSF) has started the online registration process for the recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer/Combatant Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial/Combatant Ministerial) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Warrant Officer (Personal Assistant) and Havildar (Clerk) in Assam Rifle Examination 2024. Eligible candidates can register through the official website – rectt.bsf.gov.in. The deadline to submit the application form is July 8, 2024.

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 1526 posts with 243 vacancies designated for ASI (Stenographer) and Warrant Officer (Personal Assistant) posts and 1283 vacancies for Head Constable (Ministerial) and Havildar (Clerk) posts.

For ASI (Stenographer) and Warrant Officer (Personal Assistant) posts, the pay scale ranges from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300. As for Head Constable (Ministerial) and Havildar (Clerk) posts, the pay scale varies from 25,500 to Rs 81,100.

BSF Recruitment 2024: Eligibility

Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years as of August 1, 2024 to be eligible. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for reserved category candidates. 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 3 years for ex-servicemen after deduction of military service rendered from actual age as on closing date.

Applicants must have successfully completed Class 12 from a recognised board or university or equivalent.

Step 3: Fill up necessary details and upload the required documents.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Step 5: Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.

BSF Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 100. However, women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee. It is important to note that all candidates including those exempted are still required to pay any applicable service charges.

The computer-based test (CBT) for the recruitment drive will be conducted in English and Hindi only. Following this, the candidates who the CBT will be eligible for skill test.
