The Bihar Board is all set to commence the matriculation or class 10 examination 2024 scrutiny process registrations today, April 3. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore had earlier said that students who were unable to pass the matric exam may fill out the online application form for the matric scrutiny process and compartmental examination from April 3 to April 9. The results of the BSEB 10th compartment exam will be declared by May 31. Candidates can apply at bsebmatric.org.

To pass the Bihar board exam, students are required to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks. Those getting marks less than this in more than two subjects will be considered failed. They may appear for the compartment exams, the dates of which will be announced by BSEB soon. If a student fails in one or two subjects he or she can apply for the scrutiny process or take the compartmental examination. Students will have to pay the required fee per subject. Candidates must note that only the marks obtained after scrutiny will be considered final.

Bihar Board Matric Result 2024 Scrutiny Process: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website — bsebmatric.org.

Step 2: Click on the scrutiny process application form link.

Step 3: Fill up all the required details and select all the subjects you want to apply for scrutiny or for compartmental exams.

Step 4: Make payment and click on submit.

Step 5: Download the confirmation page and get a print out of it.

A total of 16,64,252 students took the exam this year. Out of this, 13,79,542 passed the exam successfully or 82.91 per cent of the students have cleared the BSEB matric exam 2024. A total of 51 students have made it to the top 10 out of which four students have secured rank 3. Shivankar Kumar from Purnia district has secured rank 1 with 97.80 per cent. A total of 4,52,302 students have secured first division, 5,24,965 second division, and 3,80,732 third division. The class 11 admission are expected to begin soon.
