Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct the class 12 or intermediate board exams from today, February 1 onwards. The BSEB Class 12 board exams for science, commerce, arts, and vocational courses will conclude on February 12.

More than 13 lakh students have registered themselves for the state board exams which will be conducted across 1523 centres in Bihar. This includes 78 centres in Patna alone which will be accommodating more than 77,000 students. BSEB has already released the admit cards for the class 12 state board examinations on their website. Students will be required to use their user ID and passwords to take a look at their cards.

The first shift of the exam will begin at 9:30 am and last until 12:45 pm. The second shift will take place between 2:00 pm and 5:15 pm. Students must take note that BSEB will allow an extra 15 minutes as a ‘cool-off’ time to go through and analyse your question paper.

BSEB Class 12 Exam 2024: Important guidelines

Here’s a list of instructions that you should follow if you are appearing for the BSEB class 12 exam:

1. Pack everything you need

Students should have the required stationary they would need to write their examinations. Have extra pens and pencils so that you don’t land in an awkward situation if one of them stops working.

2. Be punctual

Candidates must not be arriving late to the exam hall as it could lead to unnecessary stress. Arriving early will give you ample time to follow instructions and prepare yourself for the exam.

3. Plan out your approach

Once in the hall, students must go through their papers and quickly pick the questions they would like to answer first. Making a plan like this could help optimise your time management.

4. Re-check your answer sheet

Once you have finished writing your paper, you should go through whatever you have written to ensure that you haven’t made a mistake.

5. Follow the rules

Candidates must follow the instructions given by their teacher or examiner. They should not get involved in using unfair means or doing anything illegal within the exam hall. When caught, the guilty students could be exempted from writing their examinations.
