Assam APSC Prelims Result 2024 Date and Time Update: Check Past Trends

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is expected to publish the results for the Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination 2023 (APSC Prelims) soon. Once the results are made public, aspirants can visit the official website of the Assam Public Service Commission and check their scorecards at apsc.nic.in. The commission usually releases the CCE preliminary results within 20 days. Last year, the examination was conducted on March 26, and results were declared on April 12.

This year, the exams were held by the commission on March 18 in two shifts to fill a total of 235 vacancies. The General Studies Paper 1 exam of the CCE Prelims was conducted in the first shift, from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the General Studies Paper 2 exam took place in the second shift, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Each paper was worth 200 marks.

APSC Prelims Results 2024: How to Check?

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Assam Public Service Commission at apsc.nic.in to access the results.

Step 2: Tap on the APSC CCE Prelims result link available on the home page.

Step 3: Candidates will then be redirected to a login page where they have to key in their credentials.

Step 4: Login and the APSC CCE Prelims result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check the details mentioned in the result thoroughly and download the result PDF on your device.

Step 6: Save a copy or take a printout of the same for future use.

The commission had released the answer keys for GS Paper 1 and Paper 2 last month. The APSC had also invited objections, if any, to the preliminary answer keys until March 23. Candidates were allowed to raise objections online with supporting documents.

The commission further stated in an official notification that it will not entertain any claim for correction if it is sent via email or hard copy. Also, requests that are not supported by documents will not be considered.

APSC Prelims Results 2024: What’s Next?

Following the APSC CCE Prelims result, shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the next stage of the examination — Mains examination. The mains examination will consist of two parts, namely the descriptive-type written papers and the interview (personality test). Candidates should note that the APSC CCE Mains examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in June or July. The detailed schedule for the examination will be published by the Assam Public Service Commission later.
