The heavyweights of international cricket have assembled in the United States of America as it’s hosting a T20 World Cup for the first time. Team India will be playing its first three group-stage in New York and before the campaign begins, young India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal took a tour of New York City and seemed to have too much fun.
Jaiswal shared a video on his Instagram account in which he could be seen visiting the Statue of Liberty. The caption of the video read, “New York, US.” His Rajasthan Royals teammate Dhruv Jurel was among the first to drop a comment under the post. He wrote, “Cutieee.”

Before India’s warm-up game, Yashasvi Jaiswal and his teammates Rinku Singh and Kuldeep Yadav stepped out for breakfast. They were joined by Kuldeep Yadav and fielding coach T Dilip. In the photograph, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, Kuldeep Yadav and T Dilip could be seen sitting in an outdoor restaurant. “Starting the day right with good food and good company”, Jaiswal wrote.

Yashasvi Jaiswal didn’t feature in India’s only warm-up fixture in the T20 World Cup, against Bangladesh, at Nassau County which they won by 60 runs. His absence in the game has led to speculations that India might field Virat Kohli alongside Rohit Sharma in the top of the order with Rishabh Pant batting at No. 3.
Jaiswal had a decent IPL season but was far from is usual best. He scored 435 runs in 15 matches with a century and a fifty.
