Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is one of the most anticipated Tamil movies in the entertainment industry. It is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vijay, actress Trisha and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will play the lead roles in the movie. The high-octane action movie is slated to release in theatres on October 19.
The music for the movie is given by the famous music composer Anirudh Ravichander. As the release date is coming near, the makers have released the second song of the movie, produced by Seven Screen Studio. They have released the lyrical animated version of the song titled Badass.
The movie’s first song released earlier Naa Ready was a chartbuster. This song also became the centre of controversy due to drug use in the video. Now, the makers on Thursday released the second single titled Badass. It has crossed 9 million views till now.

The first song Naa Ready came under the radar of critics after they complained that the song is promoting the use of drugs and alcohol. Several activists complained about it to the Censor Board. The CBFC then ordered the Leo movie makers to replace the smoking scenes and lyrics mentioning alcohol in the song.
The song Badass came after the audio launch event of the movie got cancelled, scheduled to take place on September 30. It was supposed to happen in Nehru Stadium in Chennai and was cancelled due to security reasons and high demand for passes. The makers have not announced the postponed date of the audio event yet. The film is being made on a high budget of Rs 250-300 crore. It is also reported that Thalapathy Vijay is charging Rs 120 crore for his role in the movie.
